We went to South Lawn Elementary this morning! The kids did a wonderful job and listened well! I was very proud of their good behavior and good questions that they had.
This puppet is deaf. They showed the kids how she needs to read lips or use sign
language. They taught them some signs!
This puppet is blind! They taught the kids how a person that is blind gets around and how they can do just as many things as they can do!
This puppet has
CP (cerebral palsy) and is in a wheelchair. The kids asked great questions like how does he take a bath? How does he get up stairs? How can he play?
I think this was a wonderful learning experience for the kids! They got a chance to see how kids that look different can be the same as them! They can be their friend too! :)
