Crayons and glue:
The majority of the kids are low on crayons and glue! I don't know what happens to crayons but they always disappear every year. Most kids do not have the basic colors. Please after Thanksgiving - send in new crayons.
ART: For Art, the teacher would like each student to have a few things. We take our regular school boxes down (there is no need to buy a separate box). Please send in a pencil and a pink eraser for their box. This way , when we go down to art, they will have all of the supplies they need. (We share pencils and erasers in a tub on their tables and they don't have pencils for art when they leave.)
Snacks:
We are starting to run low on snacks again. Please send in after Thanksgiving some new snacks please! Remember I have a refrigerator in the room. You could send in yogurt, cheese and crackers, string cheese, grapes, etc. The kids like those kinds of things better than dry foods.
Wednesday Snack:
For Thanksgiving, I was thinking of having a mini feast like the Pilgrims and Indians would have had. Can any parents bring in snacks for the class? Please let me know.
- Goldfish crackers to represent fish (Rickey)
- Raisins / berries (Alec)
- Popcorn to represent corn (Sammi)
- Pumpkin items like pumpkin cake or pumpkin cookies
- Juice boxes or juice and cups (Bella)
- turkey lunch meat (Kailee)
- plates and napkins (Alec)
- Thanks to all the parents that replied! That's great!
- If anyone else reads this and wants to bring something - maybe nuts, blueberries, or something with pumpkin in it! No one has claimed the pumpkins! :)
